HI!
This is where I tell you all about me.. So here it goes. My name is Cassie, and I am from sunny San Diego, but I currently live in Germany. I know what your thinking… GERMANY??? haha! Yes my husband and I packed up our lives and moved here in early 2021 right after our wedding in March! I couldn’t be more excited for this new chapter in our lives. (and YES of course I am traveling back to the states for weddings!!) I am the youngest one out of 4 in my family. I feel so lucky to be able to call my husband, my two sisters, and brother my very best friends. My current hobby is traveling throughout Europe with my husband! You may be thinking that’s a hobby… with the trains in Europe it makes it so easy to visit a new city if not country most weekends! You can also find me eating all of the croissants, drinking all the espresso and wine lol.
I have always loved photography and had such a strong connection with photos. About 10 years ago, I saved every penny I could, in order to buy the camera of my dreams and I haven't set it down ever since. You know that gasping sound that people make when they are a passenger in a car with a crazy driver? Yeah… I make that sound while shooting and editing your photos!! I feel like that is the best way to explain my jaw dropping excitement! I’ll try and keep my noises down during your engagement session or on your wedding day, haha! The amount of joy and happiness that I feel when I get to capture YOUR very special moment(s) is monumental.
If I were to describe my photography style I would say its very candid and organic with a little romance mixed in. I want my clients to look back at their wedding day photos and remember what they were feeling in that moment rather than “oh that was a weird pose” lol. I’m all about capturing the feeling of your moment and less of an awkward posed feeling, lol. Speaking of awkward… I want to address my most frequently asked question/concern(s). “Cassie, we are so awkward”, “I am soooo nervous”. Welllllll I’m going to squash that right now! You are you!!! Everyone is awkward, I know I am! Having a large camera in your face is not a normal thing. I totally get that. One of my most favorite things about being a photographer is being able to capture so many different walks of life. The more you can just be you the BETTER!
