Central Arkansas Maternity Photos | The Glaze Fam
We moved to Central Arkansas during my pregnancy. We had some photos back in San Diego while we visited home before our big move, but my bump wasn’t too big yet with only being about half way. So I still wanted to do another maternity shoot while I had a bigger bump! So with being so busy with buying a house and moving we didnt end up doing our photos until I was 38 weeks!! I know a little late, haha! So we wanted to do something more authentic to our new home so we went and found a sweet little farm in Little Rock, Arkansas that had the CUTEST highland cows. I definiely leaned into the western theme with my outfits too. It was so fun changing it up from our typical style of photos for this shoot. Definitely want to try to do it more often!
I was pregnant during the summer so it was a HOT southern summer day. The sunny weather made the farm come alive, from the vibrant greenery of the fields to the charming presence of the Highland cows in the background. The natural light brought a golden warmth to every shot, enhancing the soft colors of the surroundings.
The Highland cows added a playful touch to the photoshoot, making for some fun and memorable moments. The gentle cows, with their shaggy coats and sweet faces, brought a charming and whimsical element to the shoot that you wouldn’t get from more traditional locations. Whether standing by the fence or strolling through the fields, the farm animals helped enhance the natural beauty of the session.
Little Rock, Arkansas, offers a variety of beautiful, natural backdrops for maternity photography, but a farm location truly stands out. The open space, lush greenery, and even the farm animals—in this case, the lovable Highland cows—bring a sense of warmth, tranquility, and authenticity to the session. The relaxed environment of the farm allowed for the couple to enjoy their photoshoot while being surrounded by nature, and it made for a unique and rustic setting that complemented their western-themed outfits perfectly.
